Image Watermarking by Wavelet Decomposition
نویسندگان
چکیده
Digital watermarking has been increasingly recognized as a highly effective means of protecting the intellectual property rights associated with multimedia data. Based on the multiresolution structures of wavelet decomposition, both on a real field and binary field, a multiresolution watermarking technique will be proposed. Since the Human Visual System (HVS) inherently performs a multiresolution structure, each decomposed layer of a binary watermark is embedded into the corresponding decomposed layer of a host image. Therefore, in case of attacks or progressive transmission, the coarser approximation of a watermark is preserved in the coarser version of an image. In a progressive transmission, adding higher frequency components, allows us to obtain higher resolution image, and, correspondingly, extract a higher resolution watermark. Experimental results demonstrate the robustness and validity of the watermarking process proposed herein.

An improved hybrid image watermarking scheme in shearlet and wavelet domain
Watermarking is one of the best solutions for copyright protection and authentication of multimedia contents. In this paper a hybrid scheme is proposed using wavelet and shearlet transforms with singular value decomposition. For better security, Arnold map is used for encryption. Examining the results and comparing with other methods show that this hybrid proposed scheme with simultaneous utili...
متن کاملDual Image Watermarking Scheme Based on Singular Value Decomposition
An image watermarking scheme based on singular value decomposition and visual cryptography in discrete wavelet transform is proposed. We start with a survey of the current image watermarking technologies, and have noticed that majority of the existing schemes are not capable of resisting all attacks. We propose the idea to use of singular value decomposition and visual cryptography in discrete ...

In this paper, a color image watermarking algorithm based on Redundant Discrete Wavelet Transform (RDWT) and Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is proposed. The new algorithm selects blue component of a color image to carry the watermark information since the Human Visual System (HVS) is least sensitive to it. To increase the robustness especially towards affine attacks, RDWT is adopted for its...
متن کاملA Robust Wavelet Packet based Blind Digital Image Watermarking using HVS characteristics
In this paper, we present a new method of digital image watermarking in wavelet domain using Discrete Wavelet Packet Transform (DWPT) analysis of the host image. The discrete wavelet packet decomposition is chosen to utilize all high frequency components in order to make the watermarking more imperceptible using Coif5 as wavelet basis. According to the characteristics of Human Visual System (HV...
متن کاملOn the Security of Robust Image Watermarking Algorithm based on Discrete Wavelet Transform, Discrete Cosine Transform and Singular Value Decomposition
Among emergent applications of digital watermarking, owner identification, proof of ownership and transaction tracking are applications that protect data by embedding the owner’s information (watermark) in it. Recently, a robust image watermarking scheme based on discrete wavelet transform, discrete cosine transform and singular value decomposition was proposed by Hu et al. [1]. However, this s...

In this paper a wavelet-based logo watermarking scheme is presented. The logo watermark is embedded into all sub-blocks of the LLn sub-band of the transformed host image, using quantization technique. Extracted logos from all sub-blocks are merged to make the extracted watermark from distorted watermarked image. Knowing the quantization step-size, dimensions of logo and the level of wavelet tra...
